Not ready for Digital TV?

I had a couple coupons that I sent for and when I went to finally buy the boxes I found the coupons expired. I wasn’t in a hurry to get the boxes, so I let the issue alone for a while. Now… nothing.

The whole system is a mess IMO

We have an indoor antennae and have no problem picking up the digital channels in Rochester. They actually come in better than the analog signals. We have all the basics like 8.1, 10.1, 13.1, 31.1, WXXI etc etc. No issues at all.

We have also been without cable for about 4 years and you get used to it. $65 a month for a TV signal just isnt worth it to me. I do miss some of the mindless shows on VH1 and the girl liked her MTV, but no issues as we DL most shows that we want to watch.

$40 coupon on a box that cost’s somewhere between 60 and 30 dollars is pretty much free. You don’t need the most advanced box. If you are using non digital antenna and reciever, your TV isnt gonna show a difference between a 79.99 box or a 31.99 box.

You pay at most $30 for the hardware to receive free TV for the next 5-10 years.
