even though very impressive i DONT see 8’s the way it sits. Already cutting great 60’s and 3/4 throttle doesnt realy change much when full throttle. I do however think its possible for a low 9 with the right circumstances. More boost could mean 8’s though. turn that bitch up.

Not at the boost level it is at right now. Obviously even at 65% throttle opening, the turbo supplied enough air to feed the motor to spin over 7000 and make serious power. The throttle WILL be a restriction when he turns up the boost, but not as it sits right now.

The converter will be a huge change, I hope Carl nails it. I don’t see the posi surviving much longer though, lol.

Hopefully you dont blow through the new converter seeing you wernt at full throttle.I know on my 69 coronet the first time i took it to the track it only had half throttle and ran a 8.2.Then it went 7.6 when it had full throttle,what a difference.It got out of the hole fine but was laging on the top end.
