I’m not saying 600 are absolutely offlimits to noobs and everyone should start on a 250, not at all. I’m saying 250 is simply a better way to start. It’s cheapo widely available bike that will teach you all the basics and you can get onto whatever else afterwords. If you crash - no big deal. 600 are more expensive - price insurance and maintenance, and if you decide you don’t like inlines or sports in general, you’ll have to sell it all the same. What’s the point of holding onto the first bike anyway? How many people here are still holding onto their first car?
