I am not a first year rider by the way.got bike in 2006.It is 2009 now.also have dirtbikes and quads.
You should still only ride a 250R, its the only safe bike to ride, no one should ride anything different…

Well, thanks for all your advice.
Finally picked up a used 07 ex250; yeah it won’t win any beauty pageants and won’t break any land speed records, but it will be more than sufficient for what I need for now. All the money I saved I spent it on good riding gears already.
Now I just need to wait for my riding course in April. :ahh
