OMG that scoop is so ugly WTF OMG WTF WTF BBQ WTF SCOOP
at least this comment made me laugh
I dig it…
Looks pretty cool. Snorkel excluded of course.
I realize that this car was built just to make the parts eligible for JGTC races but it would have been nice to see something done with the engine.
It seems like the NSX has been pretty much the same thing for the past 10 years or so. I certainly like them, but I would never pay that kind of money for one.
 i’m glad someone else feels my pain too!
Is it still a 14 second car with that scoop?
13.98
^ it has 280 PS. I don’t know what that is exactly in horsepower, but if I remember right, it’s not too different. (sort of like converting between American and Canadian money right now) Considering it’s weight, I’d guess it might be low-14/high-13.
edit: zerodaze’s post wasn’t there whan I was typing mine…lol
my post was a joke
Me too.
then it’s funny cuz it’s true ha ha
i figured it wasnt yen as oon as i did the conversion, but i still had to post it for the fun of it
i didnt feel like figuring out what the currency symbol was actualy for …
Yuh, I did the same thing
Then I googled the symbol for euros.
£ = Pound
¥ = Yen
€ = Euro
I must have a USA keyboard, I don’t have those keys.:gotme:
You gotta get the Euro keyboard, its got 76 more keys on it
Wow for all the people that “suposedly” have knowledge about cars some of you came off as being really dumb. The scoop even though it is used for the intake, it is also used for cooling. This NSX-R was built for the sole purpose of JGTC, especially the panneling and the elongated front. If anyone knows the NSX runs in the GT500 class, which stands for cars of 500hp. It does not use the base 280hp engine as some others stated.
that’s what I was thinking
did you even read the article? yeah, it’s in German, but numbers (ie: 4357209385720985702) stay the same from language to language. It says 280 PS, where PS is the metric abbreviation of the unit measuring power.
Guess what? JGTC is a professional race series…just like Nascar. NONE of the engines in Nascar racers are found in factory cars, and I’m sure the same goes for JGTC (though some major parts of the engine may be from the factory cars, but then they are modified to meet regulations…)
and your first sentence pretty much describes yourself…quite well actually. All because you didn’t even read the article (or attempt to get any real information out of it)
everyone on here always finds something to nit pick on the cars ppl post. it is hot.(PERIOD!!)
