well… I only saw a few runs, he went like 11.36 @ 88 or something. so had to slow it down. I saw the 11.50 that was right on lol. he did a full pass at the very end :snky: maybe gleason is working on a different edit, The GTR record is only like 10.85 or somthing right now.

Stock for stock the “5.0” is an inferior motor compared to an LS1. So what the 5.0 has lower compression ratio, so what it weighs more, and sure it’s an older design. It doesn’t get around the fact that it’s inferior. It doesn’t make it a bad motor, no no not at all. The parts are cheap and they are pretty reliable. However, unless your tossing a shit load of money into it, they just don’t make the power an LS1 has.

First time EVER at the drag for me, the car could go faster but I suck at launching and I’m pretty sure the tranny blew up on my last run of the night. Rear end is binding too, so I lost a lot.
Gleason got my “best” run on vid, 14.99 @ 90.94mph, 2.0 60’ When I get it rebuilt, I wanna go back, I KNOW I can do better.

The owner let him make 3 full track passes at the end of the night, I think he got down to a 10.93 if i remember but still missed the pump gas record
not to bad. i rode with him the other night and it felt good. ive never in my life been in a car or rode a bike that shifts faster then that car lol:eekdance:
