I was pumped to line up with you to see that thing haul! I think most of us were struggling for traction. The nova should be close to a 160trap on a full out pass.

I have a scatter shield installed already. No joke for $200 this trans came with it, deep pan, trans brake, BTE shaft. I mean I had to weld up the case but I still call it a steal.
Which balancer do people use? Is OEM not SFI I assume?

I think it will do 150 when I launch in boost and maybe turn it up but 160 is nuts! I was going to cage it his winter but I think ill try sooner.
When I built this my goal was to go 140mph on the stock motor.

LOL let’s not get carried away. I am going to try that trans brake deal on the street this weekend. I can footbrake to 4-5psi on the street. Nerves honestly got the best of me last night. Didn’t want to push too hard.

I didn’t have time to look into it when I noticed I was heading to work. It was on C12/93 mix last night. Coolant temps on the way back were 175-180. Maybe ill look at it after work. I was doing pulls on the way home. Power is still there lol

144 with a no boost launch shows just how slow the car really is and that it deff doesn’t make any power. 
We need to stop trolling lol. I am very very very happy with the combo so far and importantly had a blast with everyone that showed up. Big turnout!
