my GMA has a camp in the Adirondack’s (old forge) and yes there are brown recluses there. As far as WNY… I’m not too sure.
An old friend of mine has a camp on Lake George also in the Adirondack’s and the dock spiders can grow to be bigger than my hand. Ugh I fucking hate spiders.

if it were a brown recluse… it wouldnt be a scab. it would start eating away at your skin and you would have a giant hole. google “brown recluse spider bites”… you’ll see what i mean.

There it is. MRSA is not joke. If the swelling and redness have decreased it is doubtful he has an infection. Better safe than sorry of course. Pending on how deep the actual “wound” is I can almost guarantee they will pack it with Iodoform. BTW do not sleep on that side lol and make sure you keep it clean. Staph infections can cause septicemia, and becoming septic can and will kill you as it is an infection of the blood (Septic shock, mortality rate is currently around 50% I believe). Good luck :tup:
