What I used to have was a lot more interesting than what I have now. Now I have a Fender acoustic/electric. A Les Paul copy(Jay Turser) amazing guitar. I have my first guitar which is a 1983 Westone Spectrum MX. If you have never heard of these, look them up. Amazing japanese guitars from the 80’s. I have had 6 of them so far. lol
The guitars I miss the most were my Ace Frehley Les Paul and my Paul Stanley PS II.
I’m glad I don’t buy and sell like I used to, keeps the money in the pocket longer.
the Ace Frehley Les Paul is sweet
Any of you guys know a good guitar tech in the Roc/Buff area?
Yes.
Mark Umford(sp) works out of Kenmore Music on Delaware in Kenmore. He has done at least 20 guitars for me. Tell him Butch the KISS freak sent you…lol
got ot Pete over at Suburban Guitar Repair and he is amazing at what he does. he works out of a shop in his basemnet, but does really good work and his prices are reasonable.

That was a band I was in 2 years ago. That song was definately the “softest” and it was just to showcase the guitars.
Honestly, I didn’t like the style which is why I quit, but I’ve got to say that the talent level in the band was some of the best I’ve worked with in Buffalo.
ive been playing for 3 weeks.
cheap acoustic “harmony” is the maker.
i play…er well try to play…
some gorillaz songs (easy),linkin park, dave matthews band, jack johnson, stairway to heaven, dueling banjos…me and my roomate play it back and fourth up untill the jam at which point i just hang my head in shame. some foo fighters, Seven nation army, Atmosphere, Modest Mouse, Everlast…nothing to brag about…all i can play is intros an some faster parts.
My dad just got a Jay Turser semi hollowbody bass with dual humbuckers at the Hearthstone Manner convention sunday.
put flatwound strings on it, sounds fucking awesome. cheap too. I guess they started out of Long Island as an internet-only business, but expanded.
decent stuff, and very cheap
I always wanted to see someone use a Fender Bass VI with some effects to it, with a 6-string and traditional bass. They’re hot looking:
Cool man, I’ll have to give him a call when I’m done building my guitar. I’m no pro when it comes to setups, espically nut work, so I’ll definetly be takin my project to a pro to be completed.
Let me know when you are planning to go in, I’ll see if I can’t get him to help you out / hook you up.
Thanks it will probably be in about a month maybe longer, the body is coming today, the bridge later this week, and the neck is a 4-6 week lead time so I have so time.
