NYSpeed I need YOUR wisdom! SEARCH FOR A NEW CAR!

did you get rid of the SS for a cavalier???

GL with the search chris!

Mileage tho :frowning:

That 323i is nice but if I get a 3series I wanna get a 2 door

This car has to be exactly what I want cuz if not then I will probably sell it after a few months lol.

The truck was a rash decision, because I had the 3000GT which I loved and of course my bike, but I needed something to drive in the winter. The truck was the result, and I’m just not happy driving it all year, it’s amazing in the winter, but I want something I still love driving in the summer/spring/fall too.

HAHA. No, was my previous vehicle.

Haha, after work I went home and told my family and they said the same thing and laughed at me.

LOL good…scared me for a second haha.

the e46 i posted had higher miles than you wanted, but it was a 328ci, which means coupe

wrx /thread.

I’ll admit I have no knowledge about BMW’s other than they make an M3 lol. I do like them tho, if I were to get a RWD car, they would be the way to go. If I were to get an AWD, I would lean towards Subaru or Audi.

How are BMW engines? Strong at high miles? 100k seems like a lot. Given, It may be highway but still.

WRX with a turbo-back exhaust = the best sounding vehicle IMO lol.

They’re very solid.

What do you think I could get out of it?

This car needs to last me at least 2 years without any serious problems.

Well, turbciv’s car makes over 450wheel on stock block and hes at 130k

the drivetrain wont be your problem. you’ll have to start watching for wheel bearing/clutch/belts/basically the 100-120k service that bmw offers

That’s about what I figured, which isn’t too bad.

First thing that comes to mind is service cost on a BMW is $$$, or is that not true?

I know Audi is pretty expensive for parts/service so that’s why I’d probably lean towards Subaru for AWD.

yeah bmw is usually higher priced maintence (sp fail) wise

no worries, I can’t spell that word either lol.

if you take it to a dealer it’s expensive. bmw isn’t that bad to work on though, and parts can be found cheap online

agy2k2 has some nice audi’s and bmw’s

or

check cars.com/autotrader in rochester

2 door 323, been on there a while, might be able to low ball LINK

4 door 323 LINK

both are from dealers so you can prob get something for trade on the blaze. being winter you might have better luck

Hmm.

Well okay, so e46 BMW’s for RWD I guess

Subaru guys, any info on WRX’s for sale??

2 years? maybe 2 months in your case.
