i was cruising along the parkway on grand island towards beaver island park, i see a cop up on the grass at the roundabout, i think nothing of it until i get closer and see him put down whatever had in his hand.
as i pass by i see him put it in gear and pull out after me, then i hear sirens and lights and a trooper is behind me. so i pull over.
they both come up asking for reg, i explained it was under my seat so they stood right next to me giving about no room to step off the bike. give them my info and he asks about my plate, exhaust, where was i going, what speed i was going on the parkway. i said “40-45, that’s the speed limit isn’t it?” didnt think before i said it, but i think he got pissed. he accused me of having my plate extremely hard to read so i can ride like an idiot without anyone being able to read it.
basically he had nothing on me, but insists my plate mount is illegal and gave me a “warning”. whatever. im sick of this bullshit. my plate is more visable than 90% of bikes out there.
i think he just wanted to get a good look at me in my leather pants, haha
