I have never had mirror’s. It doesn’t bother me, because I consider myself pretty alert. I just double or triple check before I switch lanes, or move around the road.
You will get a lot of shit for it, but I know several people who don’t use mirrors with me being one of them. It’s personal preference, some people have to have them others don’t need them. Could always get a bar end mirror too.

I use my mirrors all the time… why would you not want them? It’s always nice to see if someone is coming up to run you over from behind while at a red light. And while i do physically look behind me when changing a lane, the mirrors definitely help with that too. It’s much easier to pay attention to what’s in front of you if you aren’t required to turn your whole head to see behind you, especially at highway speeds.

i will say i agree with the logistics of having 2 mirrors but i started riding on a bike with only a left mirror and i actually only have a left handlebar mirror on my triumph. i like to physically turn and check when im changing lanes. call me crazy. lol.
likewise, but i hate when I’m buzzing down 95, and some a-hole in a lifted truck comes racing up behind me going 100mph because he wants to do a pull… or scare me… or w/e his reasoning is, but this happens almost every other time i’m going from stuart to miami or west palm to stuart.
without my mirrors, i probably wouldnt know they were creeping up so quickly.
Also i love mirrors when I’m sitting at a light, or when a cop is behind me.
ALWAYS check over your shoulder when changing lanes.
