Yeah I just called and they said novice would be enough for a first track day on unfamilar bikes, should be sick, I’ve been researching the track and watching videos all day haha

when you get there… the videos will mean nothing and then you’ll watch them again post trackday… and you’ll be like OMG i loved that turn! I wonder if they’ll be giving instruction in the novice group?

I was going to try Intermediate but decided I would hang back and go with Chris in Novice. I think i’d rather do this because i’m not really familar with the bike and I’d rather learn it slowly then jump on it in Intermediate
I’ll post the waiver information that outlines the entire schedule
so many things to learn, intermediate would be overwhelming…
learning a new bike, learning a new track, seeing people BLOW by you at near race pace, trying to have fun, worrying, slowing down to early, not moving fast enough, moving too fast, slowing down to late, trying to hold a line, braking points, cameras, distractions, etc etc…
yea… baby steps… novice was nice when learning…
SMART MOVE… by the end of the day, you may hate it, but hey, run intermediate next time…
the first 2 intermediate sessions at a new track (mid-ohio) were a bit unnerving… too much too soon… then when i started to get traction (as it warmed up)… i had a blast.

old bike is now tucked neatly in her new garage :)… the garage is now flooded with a U-hauls worth of shit though… (atleast the bike has easy access in and out though :))
i think shes going to need a new friend soon though
