NYSpeed Weekly Poker?

What do you typically tip a dealer at the end of a tourney? That would be typical if you do a $50 + $10 buyin that most tourneys are. If we get $20 people that would leave a $1,000 pot and $100 for the house and $100 for the dealer.

I would set something up if we have interest of driving up there to play. We could get free drinks up there too since you can drink there and order some pizzas up there like a typical poker night up there.

I say lets do it. If it doesn’t work we won’t have to do it again.

calling today to get info on setting it up and see how easy to do it. will post details in after lunch

Sounds good, perhaps we need to extend the invite to non-nyspeed players/friends

That wouldn’t be a problem. A $60 tourney might turn some people away, but think of the prize pool.

Ya. I need to call the promotions office today. Pretty sure we will need a definiate number. None of the “If I am near by I will stop in” bull shit that you get for home games.

If we tell them 20 and we get 30, 10 people are gonna be watching. If we say 20 and we only get 10, I think we might need to still pay fees for 20.

Will post more details today.

When you get the info.
Lets start a new thread labled “Offical NYSpeed Seneca Poker Tourney” and get some def numbers.

bump For Tonight’s tournament.

Bump for the spring and see who still wants to play and has a connection for places to play at.

what happened to jay’s tournies at the mofo manshion

x2

mansion here, we still play… let us know what day/time would be best for the majority and we’ll have one. (or a weekly or monthly thing).

what the hell dude we used to have sweet games like 5 years ago, is it still jammin at the mansion?

i would prefer a weeknight but anything other than tuesday

yeah we still play, not quite as often. obviously the hype has died down so much, many of the noobie players from before have moved on to their next bandwagon thing… lol

we have a group of 6-7 of us that will always play, so if we can get a small bunch to add to that we can have some good games.

haha they found out its not as easy as it is on tv when you see everyones cards.

Here we go again with all the talk that i’m still convinced will never amount to anything. I got sick of trying to make this work since i don’t thing a single one of you showed up to any of the monthly tournaments i posted up…and they beat the hell out of any home run game you’ll find.

i am definitely in to play, as long as i am free. I am much more free in 2009.

I started a monthly game down here with co-workers. Lots of fun and easy money, hehe.

Shame I wasn’t still local, I’d be down.

I don’t think its the actual people that want to play, its a matter of we dont have a place to actually organize this anywhere.
