You may be wondering what we are talking about here as your browser has cached the old layout. You can either go to the bottom and click “nyspeed mobile” then click back to “NYSpeed default” or you can clear your browser cache.

I’m a big fan of the new skin, looks great and easy on the eyes.
Well honestly how do you want us to give our advertisers any value for their support of the forum?

Put it on the top of the page instead of those pictures or along with the pictures.
They have their own subforums…thats more than some boards.
There will be a post about the different levels of advertising and they will not all have their own subforums soon. The top right corner is a reserved space that we have not placed anything in yet but will soon.
Put them under the menu options for UserCP/FAQ on all pages other than the main forum page where they can have the center. As it is I skip over the ads and the adjacent posts because they annoy me where they are. If you’re looking for an NYSpeed vendor that’s why they have their vendor accounts, vendor forums, deal/ad posts, and so on and so forth. I “see” the banners when they are at the top of the page, but in the middle of reading something I see them as nothing but a nuisance. What next? Google Adsense?

The Ads are staying guys. The top of the forum is actually reserved for some major sponsors that will be coming on board in the near future.
usually im really meh about change being used to the original look for so long, but i actually really like this layout a lot.

The only forums I’m on that put ads in the middle of the page are the ones that have google Adsense and are run by horrible companies like Internet Brands which pretty much just destroy forums. I suppose if you want to drive away your user base, just add Google AdSense and we’ll call it a day.

I like the new look, but it’s not really work friendly. I could usually pass off the old the default as some nerdy linux forum or something.
Any way that we can get some kind of plain jane look for a more work friendly/professional look?
