O2 Sensor for KA-T setup

I’m wondering what you guys are using for o2 sensors when using a stock sr turbo extension on a ka-t. The thread will fit a z31 o2 sensor - but that thing has 3 wires and our stock ka o2 has only 1.

well, most Sr’s have the single wire O2 so use a single wire O2… no fuss, no muss, no bs.

z31 should have 1 white, 1 red and 1 black.

the white is the signal wire in that case, just trim back the black and red, they are for heating purposes only.

i know on the sohc ka stock exhaust manifold you can unscrew the 02 bung as you can on the stock sr turbo extention, so what i did was just swap them and problem solved, not sure if you can unthread the o2 bung on the dohc manifold though. Check it out may help

I just did that few minutes ago after calling several die shops :oops: … Fits right in - thread is 24x1.5mm
