O2 sensor. What do you think? *pic*

Pulled it out today. Is it me or is the casing/cap around the top of the
probe missing/broken off?

Iceman from NEO (Ian) came by today and we took readings on the
sensor as the car was running. We go about 0.19v

guy wow, get a new O2…

50 bucks after tax at crappy tire, I just bought mine a few days ago. Now if only I knew how to install it…

  1. Run car till manifold is hot

  2. Grab a 22mm (or an adjustable wrench)

  3. Turn/give 'er

  4. Spray WD-40 to clean out thread hole

  5. Install

  6. ???

  7. Profit

:dunno:

Any brand(s) you guys know of that best suits our cars?
Generic CT is fine, or would it be better to get it off the dealer?

Go to Napa/Parts Source and get an OEM replacement from Bosch. Cost
is like $51 after tax or something (from Parts Source).

Thanks G. I take it you got your’s already? If so, have you noticed any improvements yet?

No dice.

No dice.[/quote]

No dice as in you haven’t got it yet, or no dice as in you haven’t noticed any improvement?
Fuel consumption has got to be better…that’s my main goal because she is a pig right now.

No dice as in haven’t noticed any improvement/change.

I think my car needs a little more then an O2 sensor change to be good.

Mine is significantly better after:
-New air filter
-New O2
-New plugs
-Mobil1
-300ZX fuel filter
-Plugged up AIV
-Cleaned throttle body
There’s a night and day difference, my car used to have major lag down low and idled like poop, and now it feels brand new. Now I still need a new clutch, but that’s another matter
