i put a new header and exhaust on my 98 civic and i cant get the first and secondary o2 sensors out of the old header i sprayed so much pb blaster on them who knows if theyll even work if i do get them out any ideas on getting them out with out breaking them?
Id really prefer not buying 2 new ones considering the 86 dollars a piece
an 02 sensor socket might help if you arent already using one
just buy new ones. more than likely the threadds will be pulled off the O2s once you get them out
tighten then loosen
On the grey plug, pull the white retainer out, push the pins to one side the should come out. rember where they came out of 2 blacks,1green,1white. Slide 7/8 boxed end wrench over the o2 sensor and smack the wrench with a hammer kind of like redneck impact driver. It always seems to work for me.
