hello,

well i decided to try and change my o2 sensor, bought the o2 sensor socket, and can’t get the o2 sensor out, it won’t crack.

any suggestions onhow to get the old o2 out.

Liquid wrench (CT), spray it and wait for about 30 min. Then try to crack loose. If this doesn’t work, then get a propane torch and heat it up real good and again spray it with Liquid Wrench. Try to crack loose imediately after this heating/quench.

Finally got it off, Tried heat, didn’t work, Used alot of penetrating oil and a 22mm socket, the O2 Socket from Napa didn’t work, it stripped the sensor for me…

Penetrating Oil + 22 mm Socket = WORKSS
