in reality, prob wont affect u. but the people against it will make you think that it is going to destroy your life and you will end up jailed forever now…i actually just got a fine handed to me personally because i’m 27 without insurance.
i am very surprised that it was upheld as constitutional. not because i think it should/shouldn’t be but because of the make up of the supreme court and for once they aren’t just sucking the dick of the gop/big business like they have been for the last couple years. but do remember in november that the person most of you are going to vote for believes in obamacare, just as being implemented by the states instead of at a federal level (there is a huge difference in that) and he put in place something very similar in mass. so do your part to actually choose and don’t vote for romney/obama, third party voting ftw.
You’re right, there is a HUGE difference between it being done on the federal level and at the state level. I’m also very surprised in Robert’s particularly siding with the majority on this while Kennedy (who is almost always the swing vote) did not.
