My boss was saying his wife’s car had the check engine light come on, so I brought my scanner in today and checked it for him. The dealer checked it last time and gave him the BS excuse of, “it’s a touchy system, we just reset it”.
That code is:
“Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input”.
The car is running fine, except that one time during that heat wave it stalled sitting at a red light. It immediately started back up and ran fine though.
I printed out a post from some volvo forum of someone with the same make/model/year getting the same code and the dealer replaced the sensor. He’s going to take that with him when he goes in again and see what they have to say this time.
Anyone else had experience with this code?
