I cant drive the car as its not registered. the car ran good after i jumped started it then 40mins later the check engine light came on after i got it inspected. clueless it had 2 codes before.\

If i can borrow the scanner for 30min or so that would be great.

you can rent them from autozone for free. you just need to leave a fully returnable deposit.
