OBDII Scan Tool for laptop

Anyone use a OBDII scan tool that hooks up to their laptop? Im looking to purchase something that can read CEL codes so I can do my own diagnostic. I know I can go to autozone but I rather have the ability to do it myself. Looking for something universal, but have the CEL on my 06 F150.

I found this on a quick search

http://www.autotap.com/

Or maybe something like this if you dont want to carry a laptop-

I have a stand alone scanner comes with a book of codes.
Works wonders, Hell I drive around with it, because my car throws a cel and it hurts mpg, so I clear it on the fly.

I got it off ebay for like 50$ new.

Yeah thats more inline of what I want to pay, did you buy it from a specific seller or have a model of the unit?

I have the one from http://www.obd-2.com and it works pretty good. Never had an issue with it.

there was another thread like this on here atleast a year ago and someone posted the one they bought, so I bought it and its done me good on all the gm cars I’ve used it on.

I’ll see if i can dig up the seller.

Ok thanks, I did a quick search and did not find anything

Im pretty sure thats the same one I have, looks exactly like it.

Basic functions, pulls the codes, deletes em, checks readyness ect.

Sweet thanks
