I’m sorry, I’m so sick of hearing this type of rhetoric. If you’re against corporations running our entire country, creating our laws, and running our lives, then you’re socialist? That’s bullshit.
It’s not that simplistic. I think the protests aren’t really well organized, and lack a vision of what they want to achieve. Which is inevitably what happens to every protest of this type.
This protest was started by Adbuster’s magazine. Which is a loosely knit group of people who don’t like the current paradigm in which we live. I think you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone who is currently happy with the way our country or personal lives are at the moment.
