Just got home, and saw:

One foot of wet snow on the roads, more on side roads
Transformers shorting and exploding, in a nice green glow followed by boom
And I am now a true believer in the beauty of all wheel drive.

I switch drove the jetta around ALLDAY, even pulled 4 cars off curbs, lawns and ditches with my FWD jetta.
I need to make cards that say “youve been assisted by a street racer”
I’m running a set of bald kumhos on the front, and 50% tread generic snow tires in the back. I’m suprised I even made it home.
i have bald kumho’s on the jetta there WAY better then half life advon or what ever stock evos have.
I have picture proof. also the only thing that got me home was the acd. (snow mode for life)
Yeah, it was quite awesome to blast through a huge drift on the end of my street. And plow though snow up past the door. Getting out of the car was another story. 
On the down side I’m so pissed I didn’t hit on the two cuties stuck at the william st. exit more. Oh well not going anywhere now. Just waiting on losing power now.
Hahahaha! Word, same here on walden. Tons of the white stuff no power anywhere including most of my street.
Also a heads up the 190 has cars stuck on about every off-ramp.
The 90 has a few jack-knifed trailers.
It is all in the tires. I was breaking all 4 loose in thrid tonight in the Quattro running on half worn Yokohama AVS ES100s. Last year I could barely get them to spin from a start on my Blizzaks.
I’m trapped on my street now. Trees down on both ends. Me = pwned
EDIT: Aww how cute, a power pole decided to play catch with a tree 2 doors down. Oddly enough it won for now It’s kind of just defying gravity.
This snow is keeping me greatly amused tonight. So much for my last day of work.
Dunno, looks like the pole is losing now. This is quite the epic battle, I’m on the edge of my seat now.

EA FINALLY started getting some snow around 11pm. We got about 2-3 inches in baout 3 hours. We got thunder and lightening going on right now.
Trees are hangng real low, and the power keeps tweaking, but it’s holding strong still. I wouldn’t mind losing power tonight, because It’d give me a hell of an excuse to not go to work tomorrow.
Roads are just wet though.
Trees arent drooping as much either. It was soooo windy here all day,. that we lost a lot of leaves, since we are about a week ahead of the northtowns when it comes to foliage.
No working camera sadly. The exploding transformers with their glowing green flashes are sweet though. :tup:
Dunno, the pole seems to be losing. Just took out another house’s power.
Oh shit this isn’t good the powerlines are being stretched tight right now. I think I am going to stay away from the window now.

Well the lines stopped moving at the moment. I’m totally cheering for that pole right now. I’m so freaking bored right now lol. And my UPS just scared the shit out of me. Hahaha
