i recently installed a set of Tein Ha’s for my s13a… performs well and dandy… no bottoming out or anything of that nature… (item purchased from averageplayer; who purchased them from slipperysilvia)… anyways… i’m happy with them to say the least…
Only thing is… on more spirited road bumps… when my coilys retract (i think/bounce?) they emit a Squish sound… not sure what the deal is… if anyones had a similar issue… please edumacate me… maybe the dampening settings??? i didn’t really ajust anything but the front height…
my vote is your not use to the sound of gas shocks lol, your like the 100th person i know to bitch about that sound when istalling new perfomace shocks… new bmw’s make this same sound lol
i don’t beleive it’s leaking… no physical signs niether… on a forum someone stated that it’d would be correct with a alignment and proper height/dampening setting. so i’ll give it a try… sounds right… cause i hear it mainly from one side…
Mine squeak all the time, in particular the front right. The front left was blown at the end of last season and I had the damper replaced, the right side was just fine.
Just get used to it… it’s a normal sound… along with many other creaks and clunks.
