Im still waiting on pics of the actual rims, he said one has some minor rash. Hmm.
Also, just had to stop at the bank, took the Tsx. Had a flat black rattle canned Dodge Ram next to me, heard one redneck say to the other “How much you think he has?” “More than us, thats for sure” I have never used the atm so fast. :ahh
I was never a fan of having wheels bigger than you need to clear the calipers, well that is unless you plan on getting bigger brakes. Smaller wheels = cost less, less unsprung, lower cg and cheaper tires.
And attempted to fix all the cdplayer/hvac lights being out, with a '05 radio from the bay… The #4 button doesnt work, and the activation code is 4456 :facepalm So thats a no go. Swapped the '04 faceplate to the '05 player, now the lights and all buttons work but…
Nope, Nope, and SOON. Just need to decide on some shocks, springs are already here. Locating the harness for the navi swap is the hardest part, not to mention the hefty price tag of the navi headunit, and dvd unit… just not worth it in my book, for this car anyways. If anything, will be supercharged before I add navi lol
Yeah you can, there is a “hack” to do it. The stock navi unit uses/reads from a DVD, the player is in the trunk on the right hand side, in my gen Tsx/TL anyways. Probably similar for yours.
Q: How do I add DVD/media player support?
A: There are three main parts required to add dvd/media player support: video module, audio module, dvd/media player.
In order to add video input to the factory navigation system, you will need to purchase a video interface. The video interface will provide the video RCA connections. The most popular is Dom’s TVandNav2Go module - as known for short as Dom’s unit, Dom, Nav2Go and variations thereof. Since he is a vendor on here, you will find group buys here for this module here: Sponsored Sales & Group Buys.
In order to add audio input(s) to the factory head unit, you will need to purchase an audio interface. The audio interface will provide the audio (usually RCA, but can be aux-in) connections. They are outlined in the Audio section of this FAQ. I would recommend Blitzsafe HON/AUX DMX if you don’t care for iPod integration, USA Spec PA11-HON2y for iPod + one aux input, or PIE X3 for three aux inputs.
Lastly, is your media device. With the two main modules above you can then incorporate DVD/PS2/XBOX/Carputer/Mediagate to the factory system.

Q: I have navi and a video iPod. How do I display videos from my iPod on the navigation screen?
A: With a video module like the TVandNav2Go, adding support for the video iPod is not difficult. Here are some threads that discusses the details:

Thanks red, I read through it and it seems like alot of work plus I’m not that handy with computers so I will be passing on any of those mods lol, I really wanted to remove that stupid okay screen you have to click every time the car starts to activate the nav but even that takes alot of work.
Just got confirmation “Awoc Ultimate Tsx Short Shifter” will be shipping soon too! Now I need to decide on shocks. Come spring, car will be dropped, A-Spec’d and bronze wheels… maybe more.
I was really playing with the idea of supercharging/rotrex it. Dont want to turbo, because it requires relocating the battery, and I dont want to sacrifice trunk space. Not sure how much more I will actually get done on it this year, hopefully lowered, and the bronze wheels maybe. Going to wait till spring on the Aspec kit install. You can drive it as it is now, its still impressive for the minimal mods I have done. No one believes me, but Tsx feels quicker than my TL.
