I’m looking into the TL and the TSX.
Year ranging 04-07
What do you guys think? And why…
This will be my Daily Driver. All year round.
Will most likely have my snow board rack on the roof come winter time.
I guess I’m just trying to look at this from different angles…

Acura TSX?

I like the tsx better. I HATE the indented line on the TL…
I love my TL. I do like the TSX also. The TSX has a much better aftermarket, and there is a JDM Euro R, if you want to mimic that look. Interiors are very similar. I get 26 mpg in the TL on avg, the TSX would obviously be better.
What year is ur TL?
I have 04 Base, with 46k now. I wanted a 07-08 TLS 6mt, but after waiting long enough and not finding what I wanted, I jumped on the auto for a deal.
Tough call… I really love both cars, but in the end I would have to go with the TL… thing just looks sweet.
I vote TLS if its in your budget.
TSX is my choice, but it needs more power. It costs a good bit in mods to make it a contender, even with the six speed.
What mods would you do to it to make it a contender?

that generation of TL is a very sharp car… if you can get your hands on a type s/Aspec whatever i would deff go for that before the tsx. the tsx can be quite underpowered imo.
I know a few people having nothing but trouble with TL’s.

Hmmm. I like the looks of both. The ka24 does seem like it would be under powered, but it’s a plus for milage. It would also keep me outa trouble since it’s slower.
Unfortunately a TL Type S is not in my price range. I would either get a auto or a 6 speed regular TL. The TSX, I would ONLY get the 6 speed.
TSX is pretty sexy if it’s done right…
Then again, so is the TL
One think I’ve noticed is the TL is a bit more of a “VIP” style car. The TSX is a bit more of a “tuner” style car but still keeping a bit of luxury.
And someone mentioned the aftermarket for the TSX is a lot bigger. Which is true, but idk if that’s a good thing. Cuz I’d be spending money on it like crazy. Lol
I had a 08 tsx and loved everything about it. Got over 30mpgs on trips, was confortable as hell, looked really nice and handled pretty sporty for being stock. Only reason I got rid of it was because having a hatch/wagon was much easier for strollers and family stuff. Can’t go wrong with a tsx
to be clear, i didn’t really have trouble, my only issue with my man. TL was that it would pop out of 3rd. which i believe from what i found out was a common issue with the man. 6sp honda transmissions.
the car drove well other then the bent wheels, but it just wasn’t really a car i liked all that much, i like the is250 as a better DD but it’s 100% only a preference. TL would be my choice of your 2 options

I vote the TL I like the TSX also but like you mentioned the TL has a more VIP style to it. It has decent power for a stock 4 door sedan but nothing crazy where you will think you need to floor it everywhere. You should just buy mine off of me. I miss having a 2 door lol. PM your number if you want to look at it. Even if it’s just to look at or drive to see if you would like a TL.
TL > TSX
TSX is cheaper though.
