This is an 1970’s FJ40 I’ve been working various stuff for a customer and building a cage for. I haven’t posted in awhile so figured i would throw this up. this wil be my last big project b4 my big day with the doctor.
Looks good!
just out of curiousity, what did you charge him for that? I am starting to look around for someone to build a cage for my jeep without completely breaking the bank. If you dont wanna post in here, shoot me a PM
looks good so far def would love to see this in person
Fuck yea HANK! Looks great bud.
shit looks sick!
Not really sure at this point to be honest with u.usually it’s a 100$ a point on a normal cage. but this is a bit excessive. I really have to sit down tonight when i’m done and figure out which way to bill it out, by labor hours or point.:Idiots
very very cool!!
when you do, let me know. Thats basically exactly what Im looking for on the Jeep. Plus, like that one, the roof will be completely out of your way… lol
yeah that made it nice very nice i might add. Plus this is a full alum. tub to it’s not welded down but bolted to the floor and then has four scab plates that bolt to the floor underneath and the frame side gets welded in solid , on the a and c pillars also…
thing looks badass in person, besides the gas tank under the pass. seat
looks good man, I would definitely be interested in pricing for my 240 as well…is it $100 a point installed?
I was just going to cage my 240 myself, I have some 3/4" electrical conduit and fittings, should pass tech no prob.
Hank stop stealing credit for my work you dick
I’m sorry but can please hurry up and finish it up. ur taking up to much space in the shop also can u finish painting really fast tomorrow I’m a lil sick from the fumes of u priming it today or atleast open the door a lil and turn a fun on.!!??:thumbup
K thanks
100$ a point after u gut the interior then somewhat install drivers seat !!:thumbup
If i remember camera in the morning. I’ll take some more pix or it out of FJ now and all primed.
Hank, can you make a cage that fits this tight to the body? If so I’d like to set something up for winter/spring as well.
Yes I can But no also. once i ever find time to finish building my air over hydraulic , tubing bender. That I have had all the parts cut and made for the last 6 mos.
This is my last big project for quite awhile unfournately…
