We’re not talking about some deadbeat father zip tying his sons wrist to a tree limb.
This is a dog…
I have so much time, love, training, and money invested in my dog. I probably would of dove in front of the gun and my dog… If the cop shot me, I might of had a better chance than the dog at surviving. Also the repercussions for the cop would have been a lot worse.
“Man dies to save his dog, after Texas cop trespasses and attempts to gun down animal.”
I don’t think you were getting it. I did have a dog some years ago. I had to watch the vet put the needle in his hind leg so please don’t tell me I don’t have a heart.
I think you missed the sarcasm^ lol. I probably would have fought the cop, gotten shot, and then became famous! And then figure out some way to become rich. The american dream.
Did the officer follow the dog instead of waiting for backup? Did the dog look suspicious before he fired? I think the cop was just standing his ground.
The owner said “Get in the kitchen, girl!” but the dog refused, the officer realizing he said girl and kitchen but didn’t reply, shot the dog for refusing to comply.
Most officers carry a taser on them. If a taser can take down a human, then I can’t see why it wouldn’t take down a dog. Maybe I am wrong, and they don’t work well on dogs due to thicker skin or something, but it’s a WAY more reasonable approach than killing the animal.
If you clicked the link, its not a big dog and it looks fairly old. The bigger issue is that there was a chainlink fence that couldve prevented the dog from getting him.
