Police Body Cam Shows White Cop Shooting Black Suspect [GRAPHIC VIDEO]

Crazy, but im all for body cams. Protects the cops and protects us

Graphic (you do see the guy get shot/killed)

It’s too long for the meme, but if you’re going to threaten to shoot someone, run from the cops responding to a man with a gun call, drop your gun because you’ve tucked it in the waistband of your sagging pants, turnaround and face the cop who’s chasing you to pick up said dropped gun, YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE A BAD TIME!

All joking aside, this was a very sobering video. I have always had a lot of respect for what GOOD cops do everyday. This guy has to live with stopping a beating heart that day, but he did the right thing. This is just… wow.

It goes to show you that no matter how much evidence the cops have in their favor there will still be people who claim it was a bad shooting.

There’s no, “I thought he had a gun” and it turned out to be a phone.
There’s no, “One witness claims his hands were up and he was surrendering” when you can see exactly what happened.

It’s all right there, clear as can be on video, and people are still trying to fault the cop. Unreal.

Unreal, indeed. He did the right thing. Black, white, yellow, brown, pink, purple… it doesnt matter. He did the right thing. Even the (priest?) approved of the cops actions if I heard that correctly.

What the hell is wrong with people. Just a crazy crazy video.

For those that didnt read the background story. The “bad guy” told people that he was going to kill his ex-girlfriend and he had a bullet with her name on it. He shows up to a wedding (i believe) and people call the cops.

Cop responds to the call and does his job. Not only is the cop supposed to protect himself but the public too. People say “aw man why did he have to shoot him”. But lets say the cop didnt and the guy turned and fired at the cop, misses and hits someone in the crowd. You will have people saying “aw man why didnt he shoot him”

Ridiculous how people are blind.

Heres another crazy one

Thread title sucks and reads like click bait.

Copied from the article

There are at least 10 points in this story where this guy could have stopped if he didn’t want a case of the deads. From not threatening his ex to not bolting all the way to not picking the gun up and turning around.

All he had to do was keep running. I swear people do the dumbest shit now when the cops show up. I do hope every cop get a body cam

Things could certainly been a lot ‘cloudier’ had the body cam not been present. It protects the people and the law. I am OK with it.

Title should read cop shoots bad guy. Doesn’t matter that he’s white or black, except in the media. Dude 100% had it coming though.

I agree.

This had nothing to do with color, I mean…if we edited the video to make everyone look like green monsters, it still wouldn’t matter.

This was a case of good guy > bad guy.

This is how I see it, when you describe yourself over the phone to a stranger, at which point do you indicate your race? I think a bunch of things come way before I go, “Oh, and I’m white”.

It’s scary out there. That officer made some pretty good shots immediately after chasing the suspect. Watching the citizen at the scene made me mad though. People have this perception that you die instantly when you are shot, but unless you get hit in your brain or heart, you are likely going to live until you bleed out, which for a handgun could be a significant amount of time.

Does anyone know if the suspect lives? According to the video title he dies, but that’s not proof.

Police use 45 caliber pistols, I’m pretty sure he’s very dead after 3 shots to the torso.

Not true. First, not all police carry .45, many are actually switching back to 9mm for cost savings and follow up shot accuracy. The caliber size is only really important for initial knockdown power though, you still die from blood loss most of the time. One of my friends that is a firearms instructor at Quantico was telling me that even with .223 you still have a good 20 seconds of time before they bleed out, during which time you could be shot back. The time is much greater with handgun calibers.

Holes in body = holes in body.

Something is going to come out of those holes.

I doubt they are skimping on their guns considering all those new fancy cars hahah either way police issue pistols and ammo are more powerful than off the shelf stuff we civilians get, it’s still a couple shots to the torso at close range.

They’re not using magic bullets. In fact just a couple years ago the FBI put out a request for a new primary service round with a bunch of benchmarks they wanted it to meet. Winchester’s PDX1 came out on top, it’s now their standard service round, and it’s the same stuff I have in my .380 and 9mm.
