PARKLAND, Wash. - Four police officers were shot and killed Sunday morning as they sat in a coffee shop Sunday morning in what sheriff’s officials described as an “ambush.”
The officers were in the cafe at a strip mall in the Lakewood area with their laptop computers, preparing for their day shifts, when one or two gunmen walked in and opened fire, Pierce County Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said.
“This was a targeted, selected ambush,” Troyer said, adding that customers and baristas were in the shop at the time but no one else was shot at or injured.
They could be doing their job 100% by the book and people would still want to kill them. I wonder if maybe only one or two of the officers were the targets and the other two were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
in this case tehre is ALOT more to the story. I would bet that at least one of these guys crossed some line. the other 3 might have just been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I spent a week in Tacoma a few years ago. It’s pretty crappy.
As for this, who the fuck knows what happened. I’ll join the speculation though. The shooter had been abducted by aliens who promised him an alien wife with 3 d-cup boobies if he brought them the bodies of 4 human law enforcement officials.
I doubt there is more to the story, the guy was out on 150k bail for rape and officer assault. He claimed he was Jesus and the world was ending. The real issue is how do you award bail to a scumbag like this.
Such a tragedy when something like this hapens. WTF is wrong with this world.
