its really outrageous to think that if we had not let ottawa rob us of 2 points and take 2 points, and let montreal rob us of a point and take 2, we would actually be ahead of ottawa and in a tie for 8th place with 91 points. we would have been in a position to control our own destiny.
if we dont make the playoffs, it will not have been because of the lack of opportunities. this team had its shots, and blew them time after time over the last month. even after such an up and down season, they were still in position to cash in, and failed to do so. thats the difference one, two, or three captain type players can make…
if they dont make the playoffs this year IMO its cause of the 10 game skid they had mid season
