I really dont know if Grier is going to help us, he didnt do anything amazing when he was here and then he went west coast and helped them out but its two different playing styles (east vs west). I guess will have to wait and see.

Grier is a grinder and great penalty killer. Two things the sabres definately lack! I like the pickup but now the sabres have another forward blocking Kennedy, Gerbe, & Mancari!
I still have a feeling that there will be a shakeup before the season starts (We have two many forwards!). I just hope it won’t involve Stafford because I don’t feel like buying a new jersey for the season!
they arent really looking for a giant goal scorer. He is a leader…plays harder than many nhl players. the main thing is that hes TOUGH…which obv you can see this is what this team is looking for right now.
when on the sabres in 04-06 he also was a monster on the PK. So im sure he will help us in more ways than one. Also, like you said…east coast and west coast are totally different, so you put it perfect…guess we will have to wait and see.

Went to the game. I’m just going to copy and paste my fb comment because I’m lazy:
They lost in OT, but it was a pretty good game. Ennis made an awesome pass 5 min into the 1st period; that dude’s going to be the next St. Louis. Myers is taaaaaallllllllll. Good skater, too, but he had quite a few bad pinches that created a couple 2-on-1s for Washington. Enroth also came in halfway through the 2nd period and finished the game and he looked awesome.

I have no idea what the last part of this means, but I agree that it was recorded for something. Lalime and a linesman were both wearing helmet cams.
That was a pretty easy “high slot” shot that beat him… Good game though. I was there 304, row 2, seat 8

I meant that it looked like they were using the helmet cams for making a commercial or something. I’ve never seen helmet cams in anything other than all-star games.
RJ mentioned on the radio feed that the refs had what appeared to be a camera on their helmet.
Interesting I will find out Monday.
Patty Lalime and 1 Linesman wore a helmet cam. At first I thought they were the mohawks that ricer bikers wear on their helmets.
The red commercial light was on because the game was broadcast on the radio so they needed to take commercial breaks for the radio.
