This will be a grind-it-out series. I was gonna start flipping over tables when I saw Kaleta geting his face turned into puree on the glass - glad to see some of the more docile guys (Lydman comes to mind, and Pominville taking runs at Chara) stepping up in the playoffs.
I still think the funniest part of the night was when Kaleta “took a run at” Chara, didn’t even touch him while crashing into the boards and then Rick says, “well, that sends a message”. Really? What message? That your depth perception kinda sucks? Hit the SOB next time.
Yeah, but last night he was hitting, skating hard, shooting, passing, he was actually playing. Grier really needs to step it up. He had a couple good hits, but for the most part he’s just coasting out there. How about how Ennis turned Chara inside out?
