This season has been unreal so far. Hopefully they can keep this pace up and avoid and MAJOR injuries. Can’t wait to have Gonch and Talbot back.

They caught us napping and handed us our asses in the third.
I realize the team isn’t anywhere near full strength…but Sid needs to man up. 2 years ago when sid missed 21 games with the high ankle sprain…Geno manned up and dominated. He had 14 goals and 22 assists…and it was quite obvious he stepped up his game. So far Sid has yet to do anything out of the ordinary and actually looks worse. I realize there are injuries but come on…if you are one of the “best playmakers” in the NHL you would think you would have more than 0 assists on the powerplay in the past 22 games (going back to last season).
It seems like Sid is playing a bit hurt to me, I dunno why I think that. He def. doesn’t seem like the game changer her normally is/can be.
you want him to man up and get more assists? to get an assist, someone else has to score… maybe its not him that needs to “man up”
Well that is part of the problem. I mean he is scoring a little more but since his HT game he hasn’t done shit. I am just saying if you are one of the best playmakers in the NHL you have to setup at least one goal on the PP this season. I know other people are not playing to their potential, but some of Sid’s passes look weak…and stupid. I mean no matter what the guy can’t lose…if he has a ton of assists then it is b/c he is such a great playmaker and anyone can score playing with him…but if he gets no assists then he can do no wrong b/c it is apparently the other guy’s fault. Look I know Sid is awesome, but in the past 5 games or so he doesn’t look good…and him not having a PP assist in 22 games is just as bad as Kunitz not scoring all season. The team needs him to take over a game and I have yet to see it.
Looks like Geno is back tomorrow…good we need him. Our PP is poo w/o him…
we def need a win, dropping 4 in a row is no good.
