**Official 2008 Buffalo Bills thread**

He wants to go to the Giants, so I’d be surprised if he doesn’t end up there. Why wouldn’t the Giants want to add the most productive TE to their roster?

Oh shit oh shit… hope maybe!!! This is from a Giants Forum
http://www.screamingsports.com/giants101/archive/2008/10/14/rumors-swirl-giants-close-to-gonzo-deal.aspx

We’ve been doing all we can to get some information on this Tony Gonzalez situation here at Giants 101, and I’ve just received word that a Gonzalez deal is on the table. The deal reportedly involves Giants third-year wideout Sinorice Moss and a mid-round draft pick - possibly a 5th round pick.

However, I’ve also been told that the Buffalo Bills have made a significant offer to the Chiefs for Gonzalez as well, that could include a higher draft pick than the mid-round pick the Giants have on the table along with Moss.

lol… he doesnt want to play here…

but regardless of that…i highly doubt he will end up here.

I dont want him here unless its just a draft pick. I would hate to give up one of our young players for him. Especially the way the season has gone.

Get Hardy more confident in the red zone and there is no need for Tony G.

if the giants get gonzalez for moss and a 5th rounder thats a steal

We need to find out who we are putting up for this trade. IF that’s true.

however… bills did make a serious offer though

That’s why I think it’s now possible for him to come to Buffalo.

I take back what I said…I would only like it if Justin Jenkins was gone :stuck_out_tongue:

Well… As much as I hate saying it, I don’t think Hardy has much of a future in the NFL. I know its way to early to say but he is just so fundamentally unsound in so may aspects of the position. But TGonz would be such an immediate impact on a season that already is up in the air.

Who cares where he wants to play, if he is so upset with his situation in KC that he wants a trade, you would think he would be happy with any progressive trade.

agreed. Mostly. Tony will cost a couple of picks, or a high pick… which is meh.

Acquiring him as one of the final pieces is a bit premature IMO. I’m gonna say Tony is only going to maintain his level of play for another 2 yrs max… I don’t think we should pay that high a price for that period of time.

well a “better” trade from the bills wouldn’t necessarily be anything crazy…figure moss is what…5th on the depth chart with the giants? off the top of my head i can think of burress toomer hixon and steve smith

FUCKING TYREE JACKASS!

there ya go, so he’s 6th…thats like a throwaway player! lol

Pssh…that throw away player has more TD’s than half of my starting line up this year on fantasy :frowning:

okay, now look at it from a Bills POV - who would you be willing to throw away for Tony.

Obv KC has needs… but we aren’t exactly stacked with offerings. Even at this point it doesn’t look like our draft pick will be early in the round.

Or, am I giving Tony too much credit?

Originally I had heard that they wanted 2 draft pick… I could live with a 2 and 4 or maybe a 3 and 4 or something like that.

looks like hes staying in KC

i’m just saying, from the giants perspective lol they wouldn’t exactly be losing a whole lot :stuck_out_tongue:

Alright I got the perfect trade…

Tony Gonzales for Kevin Everett… too soon… no way!
