giant wuss journalists? what about giant asshole, argumentative, biased, fact distorting at best, flat out lying at worst journalists like o’reilly stick around?
I’m not a big o’reilly fan either, but I’ll take argumentative over suck up anyday. That Olbermann piece looked like a high school girl interviewing her movie star crush.
And just wait for Hannity to interview McCain…that’s what happens when you’re on a biased cable news show…Although I haven’t seen McCain on Countdown yet…
Yeah, I’m not saying Fox isn’t biased the other way, but people constantly bitch about Fox while never having any issue with the serious left lean of CBS, NBC and CNN.
You mean like at the end NBC’s coverage of the RNP convention and Stone Phillips (?) starts waxing on about about Obama and what he’s got to do now and blah blah blah… and signs off “I hope that in this partisan atmosphere it’s okay to say ‘Go Blue’”
^ Yeah, I mean like that.
CBS and NBC do tend to lean left with people like Olberman and Adams.
CNN however I find is much more centered. They have the Caferty File for liberals and Glen Beck for conservatives.
Olberman is the liberal version of O’Reilly, but I find his arguments are better researched than O’Reilly’s.
I just heard that Obama sent a team of 30 people to Alaska.
They must be on vacation I guess.:gotme:
It is a beautiful place.
Obamas people will fit right in up there.
It is interesting that people were denied access to info about Senator Stealth in Chicago but, now he sends a team to dig up dirt on the next VP of the USA.
Today is Primary Day. I ask everyone in Mary Lou Rath’s old district (Amherst, Tonawanda, genesee county, batavia) registered Democrat to come out and vote for Baby Joe Mesi.
Where were they denied access? (serious question)
From my understanding so far Obamas people won’t have to dig too deep to get some dirt on this hypocritical wind bag.
This is a joke right? You’re not really behind Mesi?
Stanley Kurtz was told he would have access to files at the Chicago Library and when he got there he was denied.
He tried to get access through higher ups but he was told “No”.
I will try to find the interview.
I think this is it but I don’t have sound right now.
The Wards are part of the dysfunctional clusterfuck that is our local politics, and always have been. We have too much of that already on the state level. Plus, it’s a Republican district, and we need someone with cross-party appeal to help us take the Senate. Neither Ward will do that. And Baby Joe is my cousin.
AWD - You make JayS’ job so much harder
Well maybe if I could get CCN to stamp it you would believe the truth.
Agree that the Wards are giant fuckups. What experience does Mesi bring?
That side of the family has always been in politics. Particularly the Bargnesi’s, they’re heavily involved in Tonawanda and Erie County. His father Jack and him largely coordinated and brought in huge boxing events to the area on their own, without major promoters, along with out-of-state tourist money. He has the respect of the local community and he’s a very good public speaker. Since he cut down on boxing, he’s been very active in fundraising for organ donation. He’s big on cutting spending, particularly in Medicaid abuse, getting property taxes back in line, and bringing in high-tech jobs to replace the union manufacturing jobs that are leaving. I think he’d be a lot more able to reach across the aisle in a pretty much deadlocked Senate than Ward or Ianello. It’s not easy to draw the endorsements of both the Conservative and Working Families Parties.
ooooo Joe’s about to make Jay vote for Mesi
maybe they started the Hardon collider a day early?
hey, I voted for Rath last time :gotme:
I thought she did a good job and the Senate majority wasn’t in play.
