Numminen said he’ll skate in pre-game warm-ups, which he did not do before Sunday’s game 5 loss. He will then make a final decision whether he will play.

In a drastic change from Monday, Sabres Super Uber-Defenseman Jesus Christ is now optimistic that he could play in Tuesday’s game 6 against Carolina.
Jesus, who hasn’t played since early in game 1 of the 30 AD series, has what is believed to be a groin pull and a hip flexor injury, because the boulder was heavy. Sabres head caoch Lindy Ruff will tell us that Jesus has a “mid to lower-body injury.”
