just a little something, I’m doing a dance music party at Nektar on Fridays. Upscale, strict dress code, not expensive at all (prices comparable to local ‘clubs’) and a really nice vibe overall. if you guys are interested.

man you have no idea how much work we put into it, we clear everything out, are in the process of getting custom made bottle service tables, put up a sound system, we’re re-worked the entire bar to handle the amount of people (we had to turn people down due to capacity first week)…we’re doing it every friday. i play a wee bit commercial (zero hiphop, just saying, i’m not going SUPER deep) but it’s still a dope spot to come listen to some cool music other then 90s hiphop. later on i’ll be getting other DJs to change things up, and get different styles of tech house/deep house/etc. crowd is very upscale so just an FYI, dress up a bit. it’s NOT a typical buffalo crowd - guestbookparty.com and see for yourself…a LOT of good looking girls lol.
I’ll have to look into it for sure, I usually go to rendezvous when they get the big names in but that’s about it in Buffalo

Actually its at ten I’ll most likely go - The thing I worry about doing it EVERY Friday is people will get sick of it and the crowds will start to dwindle, almost overkill. I like when big events become monthly.
yeah, this isn’t really a BIG event though, by any means. small, super nice place, pretty much made for that 100 people that want to go out and avoid the bullshit. not overcrowded, we’ve got a guy cleaning the floor all night so you don’t have to walk around in glass…just overall upscale dance music lounge spot.
