mine is mint, I bought it right before the ps2 slip came out. the 50 000 1 model (or version 9) it’s not modded. I’ve had modded ones and they tend to die quickly, and viloently.
it porlly just got warm, but yeah the blurryness occures during auto drive only.
Mines blurry too. It seems to be a glitch in the game according to some of the other gt4 message boards. After a year of delay you think Sony would make sure the game is free of bugs…
mine is blury too before the race when its in auto drive mode on certian tracks like the tokyo R series races really annoying, but it dosent happen when your actually driving.
WTF is up with the screen’s text shaking/vibrating/bluring when racing?
I 1st thought it was my PS2 so then tried it on another one…
Same thing, Then thought maybe it was the game disc, not that either.
Anyone else have this issue and I’m not talking about the whole
screen bluring when you crash but simply racing or heck eveing
starting off on the starting grid the text starts going nuts.
When I pause the game it all stops and goes clear and legable again,
then a few seconds back into the game it does it.
EDIT: I didn’t notice the 5th page regarding this issue but WTF!
I have three different PS2’s the 1st SCPH-3000 the latest SCPH-7000 and the PS2 Slim… All do it…
what car did you use for that race? you think a stock 400r can win them handily? caue i hate continually beating races, i usually just beat them once than bspec them after if i want more money but some races are tough to win on bspec mode. just wondering cause i could use some more credits to deck out my NSX
How do you clear your record? I have hte chinese version so I dont know anything i’m doing. I just buy parts that make me go faster Smile
I’ve been doing this race as well and the the 400R can easily win this race. You can’t play B-spec mode for special condition races though.
To clear your record. Enter the race again after you have won it. A message box will pop up telling you that you have already won the race, and ask if you want to clear the records. (Pick the right option IIRC to clear them). Then sit back and watch the easy money roll in.
someone was saying that HDTV does not get the ‘fuzzy’s’ happening, this would lead me to believe that it’s refreshrate related to NTSC standards, ( lowest in the world a 60hz interlaced). if you have SVHS input this may help if you have a component input that will really help and a TOS link works as well. I would hazard a guess and say that a new TV with the ability to process progressive scan would be your best bet. regardless of hdtv format 16:9
to that end… someone sell me a frikin PS2!!! mine fried!
shift-sr I’ll get down to your place with tthe DMS4 as soon as I can but the V mount I’m working on was a rush deal.
ohh no that fuzzy thing is suppost to happen the emotion engin has it as some kind of special effect. i’ve read that its suppost to enhance the realism of driving…well…maybethey ment to say “drunk driving”
becasue hey when your rocking around some snow coverd rally track in your Buick GN chances are good that your drunk.
anyone know if you can win F1 cars in GT4 like in GT3?
