No the BMW haha, and saw some asshole in a dark newer altima, with the 3.5, an exhaust, and a broken bumper on the right side on the 219. Was on saturday, the guy tried to race my friend’s white lowered passat, he wouldn’t, guy then tried to run us off the road. We got infront went even with another guy in the right lane this person was terrorizing and wouldn’t let him pass. He procedes to pass us on the shoulder narrowly missing the guardrails and sides of a bridge before speeding off going at least a 100. Have fun crashing at those speeds with the way you drive
That had to be a raliart. A donut doesn’t clear the brembos in the front. There is an orange Evo X that drives around here and I want that car in the worst way ever.
Who the hell is driving their Lambo in January?
White debaged G8 on French in Williamsville near the 990 around 6:15pm last night. Anyone on here?
If I had 1 I would. The weathers been great. Just wash the salt off
I also see every day a white hatch wrx/sti with black rims driving down Main St. towards Akron. This is every morning around 7:40am.
I dunno man, the only way you can be sure to prevent rust is to never take a car into an environment where there’s salt. You’ll never be able to get 100% of it off.
Also, driving on whatever exotic W-rated tires that are probably on there is dangerous as hell in temperatures below 40 degrees.
Whats the makeup of the car though? I usually would never take a nice car on salty roads… but, what is the majory of this car made of.
I was wondering that too. Even if it was made of carbon fiber or something I’m sure there’s metal on it somewhere.
The only way to have peace of mind is to just not take the car out.
Or buy one of these:
Sometimes it takes a little while…
I know what you are saying, but iirc… really the only true rust worthy parts on the car will be anything to do with the suspension/drive terrain… and the frame, if its not made from something else. On top of that, dont they usually put some sort of paneling on the bottom of the Lambos for areo dynamics?
Same thing goes with the one you posted. yes, body wise that is great… mechanically… it will rust still. not everything on the car is stainless.
I’ve always wondered about the Bonneville Salt Flats and what they do to get the salt off.
You’re right yambag, I posted the Delorean as a joke. lol
lambo is owned by audi, and audi adds special protection to all their cars. porsche has been doing it since the early 70s. my audi has a 12-year protection plan straight from the factory in 2000, and i’d guarantee the higher end audis and lambos have longer. my car is 12 years old, driven daily, 150k and other than some scratches and chips, it has no rust on the body whatsoever. my 911 turbo has a longer paint protection plan, i think. on all the porsches i’ve worked on, there are zinc coated bolts everywhere, i’d expect lambos to be no different/obv better.
most parts on those lambos will be some type of aluminum, probably space grade. and globs of carbon fiber.
and, you can put snow tires on.
Saw a red mustang with white stripes on the 90westbound… It was kinda riced out with louvers and hoodscoop / hood pins.
no markings whatsoever on the car, im assuming its a v6… Looked kinda neat though
R8 on Camp road in Hamburg last night around 10:00. It was cool to see one here, let alone in January.
That car resides right around the corner from my parents. Definitely a V6 autotragic.
I honestly don’t remember the last time I parked that car facing the road lol. It’s always tucked in the back of the driveway next to the shed.
OEM Clean MKIV Supra – black – in hamburg with a 60’s-age husband and wife driving… very weird. But pretty great also. Good to see there’s still an un-fucked MKIV around.
lambo is the owner of pure/bayou he got rid of the F430 over summer and then bought that recently.
2 sti’s in the Bryant st parking garage at children’s. 1 silver hatch and 1 blue sedan. Both new body styles. I never knew the hatch was that wide. Ive always wanted a sti but seeing 2 on a day like this made me really want 1
