I was coming out of the tunnel when that thing took off. It was definitely the loudest jet I’ve heard flying out of the airport in 15 years.
Yeah those are loud. We flew into and out of Northwest Florida Regional airport which is connected to Eglin AFB. There wee many F22s coming and going all over the place while we were there. Definitely not quiet. We were supposed to get some nice pictures of some as my friend is stationed there but the day we went to do it, they had none that were ready for photos. If they are weaponized or taken apart for repairs, they don’t allow photos. If they catch you taking any, they’ll take whatever you were using to take them. You don’t get it back.
