In the event of a flip your supposed to relax and make sure you dont let go of the bottom of the wheel, also make sure your thumbs arent into the wheel, so if it jerks violently it dosent break your thumbs.

Actually in a crash in a racing situation you’re supposed to grab either your shoulder loops on your racing suit or your shoulder belts.

I am so glad I never had my race car upside down, came close once but didn’t go completely over.

I raced karts, did a race or two in a cup lite and then raced a tq midget for three years before I couldn’t afford to do it anymore. One day I will get back into it but for now I have other things i need to get done.

Since you probably don’t know what a tq midget is they are open wheel full on race cars, powered by modified 750cc bike motors (usually suzuki gsxr or kawi zxwhatever). They only weight ~850lbs with driver and are so much fun to fucking drive, super fast super agile, a little hard to drive due to their handling characteristics but a blast none the less.
