ok i have 2 very small rock chips that r starting to rust on in the roof and on near the back of my ride.
how do i fix this and i plan on painting the car in the spring so can i just use some type of paint to cover the chip up after i get the rust off???

Just put some grease on it, it wont rust anymore.

Sand down the spots… dab paint back in to cover it up. If ur gonna repaint the whole car anyways… dont’ worry about doing a great job, as long as it stops the rust, right?

Hey Jamie, bring the car to us and I’ll slap a good gob of silicone on there for ya! It’ll fix up that rust no problem! 
Or you could carefully sand down the rust to bare metal, making sure that the rust is 100% gone. Then you need to prep the metal using something called POR-15 (sandable rust converter) then you need to prime it, and paint it. I can’t tell you how to paint tho, cuz I don’t know how.
You could always take it to Sumaru’s and have Reg fix it.
