Ok, so I’ve been obsessed with crazy, high-end watches lately. I’m not sure if it’s the jewelry aspect of them, the mechanical aspect of them or a mix of both. This really has my attention at the moment:
$275,000 is a little steep though.
Any comments or insight would be greatly appreciated as well as names of other ultra-complicated timepieces.
It only chimes when you want it to. Originally, the repeater was designed so that you could tell what time it was in the dark. Before artificial lights.
Agreed, although the Gyrotourbillon it pretty cool as well as the Zenith Zero-G watches. Also, the Girrard Perregaux 1945 series has a watch with a built in slot machine that actually works, though that was a pretty cool yet useless feature.
The Freak is effing sick, there are a couple of them for sale on timezone for $42-45K. They are very cool but a little hard to read for me. I do, however, have my eye on a certain Big Bang…
