I was just wondering if anyone has done an oil analysis from an engine or transmission before. For anyone that doesn’t know what this is, they tell you exactly what is present in your engine oil. This sounds interesting so I was wondering how useful it ended up being.
Yes I have done them before. I found I had bearings that were disintegrating before my eyes. The lab actually called me to see if the sample I sent them was a joke. I said no, then they said they had never sen so much brass in a sample…ever! it was off the chart.
