oh yea, and my dad was impressed by the 40-60 run of about .1 seconds…hahaha
basically he got pulled on the highway by his buddy in a 7 series…and he wants power…i told him this is the best way to get POWER in an s2000…and lots of it…
…he wouldnt be losing very much with that setup.
no one has any advice on what to tell hiom in regards to getting more power out of it?
I can’t give him specific advice/knowledge…
but i can tell him…
boosted hondas are funnnnnnnnnn
You’ll need to add a new rear diff as well… they’re just a little fragile on the S2k when you’re making more power than stock.
Looks good overall. Any feedback from people who use it in regards to wear and tear on the motor?
do it
rear dif… might as well stock up on them.
clutch - umm ya… stock clutch will last about 5 seconds with that type of power.
perhaps supercharging is another option?? honda’s seem to have enough “top end” already and power on demand= loads of fun!

…this kit is currently on several hundred st00ks who all have had nothing but good words about it, several are over the 30k miles mark with it and it is still running as strong as they day they had it installed.
is this a DD
…no, my dad DD’s a nissan murano, this is his “weekend” car.

…S/C is all rfine and good, but he wants more power, and ALOT(ALOT ALOT ALOT) of people on s2ki who were s/c’d went to htis kit due to all the positive aspects of it…
----oh and i saw ur tail lights on this morning(when your car was in your driveway) while i was working at like 8 am…hope you didnt leave them on over night…
wear and tear is what it is. it will be no worse than boosting any other factory na engine. properly tuned, mantained, and not abused (bounced off the rev limiter on a regular basis) it will last forever.
I agree with this - vortech charger fo jooo. less hands on up keep and instant boost response.
