looking for an older bmw 325 5speed always enjoyed these cars looking to spend 1500-1800 must run and drive
older meaning what? E30 or E36? I have a 1995 325i for sale.
Dude you should keep that thing, you don’t find a car that has ALL the maint. records that belongs to your neighbor everyday.

I’ve been looking for the exact same thing for a second car. Craigslist has been pretty dry
She sounds a little rough, but maybe it’s worth a call…
hmmm I have a 91 im going to look at sat is whats the pro’s and cons between the 91 and say the 95s
nice car but Vermont is a little far
91 is an e30 and is going to be lighter and faster but this comes with all the issues that an older sport luxury car comes with. e30s are also maintenance whores, expect to do a valve adjustment every 20kish and timing belts every 60k the latter being extremely important as they go like clockwork. I drive one everyday and I love it like its one of my kids lol.
The 95 is going to have a stronger more reliable engine plus it is going to have newer and comfier features, more modern styling and in some ways a stronger aftermarket. Its heavier, very common and has its own assortment of issues.
the e30 was designed and built with hundreds of hours on a test track for a race car, then it was altered for street purposes. the e36 was designed and tested on a computer and lost the performance and feel that the e30 had.
all in all they are both great cars but i would suggest an e30. buy it, swap in a m5x/s5x and have fun.
Lol, Jason you took a e30 into consideration.
If i did it all over id get a e30 not a e36. I had a '95 325i, that tank was so slow. Owned it for 2 years, things kept breaking. It was reliable though, besides the waterpump housing that kept rusting, which led to coolant leaks it started everyday. It had 78k on it when sold.
he bought the 91 the thread can get locked
