My moms got an 88 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, the things missing pretty badly at times, especially around the 1000rpm mark, along with this it drinks gas like water and its boggy off the line. I say its running rich, but her mechanics at her shop say its fine, any ideas?

Its not my moms car though, its the company car, they wont invest in anything newer for her as the companies on the last line of its “life”. And the cars not that old, only 200’000ish on the motor…

no just drive til id dies on you my dads 97’ caravan had 260k and was dieing by the moment so he used it up to the end and then changed it…so like you said if it’s your moms company car then use it for the company and then get a better car

Yeah, her company’s closing soon anyways, and yeah, just the owner doesnt want to put money into the car anymore cuz of the company’s closure.
